What we save
When you submit a project enquiry, we save your name, email, optional company, project description, preferences, language, submission time, IP address and an approximate country, region and city derived from that IP. If you have a conversation on this browser, we link it to the enquiry. Messages you send through the consultation panel are stored with a conversation identifier. We also record the client IP address and approximate IP location when the conversation is created.
How we use it
The noneai team uses this information to understand and follow up on your request, and to review enquiry sources and prevent abuse. IP addresses are sent to IPWHO.IS to estimate their country, region and city; enquiry content and contact details are not sent to this service. When AI chat is enabled, messages, recent conversation context and relevant noneai knowledge are sent to Agnes to generate responses. The panel indicates whether AI is available. AI answers and their sources are stored for follow-up; this is not a live human service.
Cookies and access
Necessary cookies identify your conversation and, for administrators, the signed-in session. They are not advertising cookies. Conversation cookies expire after at most 30 days. Short-lived, hashed network identifiers help prevent excessive requests.
Website analytics
When enabled, first-party analytics records public page paths, referring hostnames, language, device category and consultation interaction events. Random identifiers exist only in the current page session and reset on reload; we do not use persistent analytics cookies or cross-site tracking. Analytics also records IP addresses, approximate IP locations (continent, country, region, city and coordinates) and browser User-Agent information. IP addresses are sent to IPWHO.IS for location lookup. Analytics does not store message content or URL query parameters. When Do Not Track is enabled, we still record page visits, IP addresses and approximate locations, with a declined-tracking flag; we omit browser User-Agent, device details, referrer and visitor/session identifiers. Administrators may send aggregate website statistics and enquiry counts to the configured AI service to generate operational reports, without raw IP addresses, browser agents, visitor identifiers or contact details. Detail records are retained for the configured period (7–90 days, default 30); daily summaries are retained for one year. Anonymous counts are estimates, not a count of identifiable people.
Retention and deletion
Retention is configurable by the site operator. Contact us for the active retention period.
You can delete your current conversation in the consultation panel. This does not delete a separately submitted project enquiry. For enquiry deletion or a data access request, email [email protected] and include your enquiry reference when available.
